It is preferable to get in touch early in your pregnancy, as this allows us time to get to know each other so I can best support you in an individualised, holistic manner. Bookings can fill up quickly, so please get in touch if you are considering hiring a midwife. Of course, sometimes life can get in the way of booking early, and enquiries are welcome at any gestation. 

I do not currently have a dedicated clinic space- I will travel to your home for all appointments. I am currently based near Bermagui, and travel from Batemans Bay to Eden, and surrounding areas. 

Absolutely. Everyone’s health needs are different, and when people’s needs are outside of the scope of a midwife, my role is to collaborate with other professionals. This may look like sharing care at the local hospital, or working with specialists suited to the situation (like obstetricians or paediatricians). This may also include planning to birth in a hospital. 

I presently do not have visiting rights at our local hospitals, so in the event that you attend hospital for any care, I will be able to accompany you in a non-clinical capacity. This means I can continue to provide support, information, and advocate for your wishes. A hospital midwife would then work with you for your clinical needs.

My care package includes being on call for clients 24/7, to provide advice and support for any concerns that arise. For non-urgent matters, daylight contact is preferrable, however you are always welcome to make contact any time for serious concerns.
